  • £1,923 per person — [accommodation type TBC]

The accommodation options and corresponding prices will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is payable in two instalments:

Important: the stated instalments currently leave £151 outstanding on each package. The final £151 payment and due date are TBC.

Your place on the Retreat is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

3. Booking and Contract

A booking is made when:

  1. you complete the booking process;

  2. you agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions; and

  3. we receive the required deposit.

Once your booking has been accepted, a legally binding contract exists between you and Root & Exhale.

The information provided on the Retreat webpage and during the booking process forms part of the information on which you have agreed to purchase the Retreat.

We will provide you with booking confirmation and the relevant package-travel information following your booking.

4. No 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Because the Retreat includes accommodation, catering and leisure activities provided for a specific date or period, the statutory 14-day cancellation right that ordinarily applies to many online consumer contracts does not apply to the Retreat.

This does not affect any cancellation or termination rights you may have under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (“the Package Travel Regulations”) or any other applicable consumer law.

5. Cancellation by You

You may cancel your booking at any time before the start of the Retreat by notifying us in writing.

A cancellation charge may apply depending on when you cancel.

Cancellation charges and the applicable schedule: TBC.

(refundable R/non-refundable nR/transferable T)

deposit (non-refundable)
instalment 1 - 15th Feb -  (minus or not early bird £150  (31ST OCTOBER)) (Transferable IF redeemed by booking, not expressly attending, a future retreat within 12mths from the cancellation date)
instalment 2  - 15th Apr - (balance %) (Transferable IF redeemed by booking, not expressly attending, a future retreat within 12mths from the cancellation date).

Any cancellation schedule will be based on the costs we reasonably incur or are committed to as a result of your cancellation and will comply with applicable consumer and package-travel law.

If you have a statutory right to cancel or terminate the package without paying a termination fee, that right will take precedence over any cancellation charge set out in these Terms.

6. Cancellation Because of Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances

You have the right to terminate the package travel contract before the start of the Retreat without paying a termination fee where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the destination or its immediate vicinity significantly affect the performance of the package, or significantly affect the carriage of passengers to the destination.

In such circumstances, you will be entitled to a full refund of payments made for the package, subject to the applicable statutory provisions.

No compensation will ordinarily be payable in these circumstances where the law provides that the circumstances constitute unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

7. Transferring Your Booking

You may transfer your package booking to another person who satisfies all the conditions applicable to the Retreat.

You must give us reasonable notice of the proposed transfer. The applicable requirements and any reasonable costs associated with the transfer will be communicated to you at the time of the request.

The person taking over your booking must agree to these Booking Terms and satisfy any requirements applicable to the Retreat.

8. Changes to the Retreat Before Departure

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the Retreat as described at the time of booking.

Occasionally, it may be necessary to make changes. If we need to make a significant change to an essential element of the package, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and provide you with the rights available to you under the Package Travel Regulations.

Depending on the circumstances, these rights may include accepting the proposed change, accepting an alternative package, or terminating the contract and receiving a refund where required by law.

We will not use this clause to make changes that would unlawfully deprive you of your statutory rights.

9. Cancellation by Us

We may cancel the Retreat where this is necessary, including where circumstances make it impossible or impracticable to provide the package.

Where we cancel the Retreat, your rights will depend on the reason for cancellation and the applicable Package Travel Regulations.

Where the law requires us to provide a full refund, we will refund payments made for the package in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.

If the Retreat is subject to a minimum number of participants, the minimum number and any applicable cancellation deadline will be clearly communicated before booking.

Minimum group size: TBC.

10. Our Responsibility for the Retreat

As the organiser of the package, Root & Exhale is responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in the Retreat, irrespective of whether those services are provided by us or by other suppliers.

You must notify us without undue delay if you become aware of any problem with a service included in the Retreat, so that we have a reasonable opportunity to put it right.

11. Assistance During the Retreat

If you experience difficulty during the Retreat, we will provide appropriate assistance without undue delay where required by law.

This may include providing information about health services, local authorities and consular assistance and helping you make communications or find alternative arrangements where appropriate.

Where your difficulty has been caused intentionally or through your negligence, we may charge a reasonable fee for assistance, limited to the actual costs incurred, where permitted by law.

12. Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided at Babs Zouina in the Ourika Valley, Morocco.

The Retreat has different accommodation options, reflected in the two price levels.

Your booking will specify the accommodation option selected.

Any specific accommodation requests should be made at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee them unless expressly confirmed in writing.

You remain responsible for communicating any dietary requirements directly to relevant staff during the Retreat.

14. Yoga, Breathwork, Somatic Movement and Workshops

You are responsible for informing us before participating if you have any injury, medical condition, pregnancy, physical limitation or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate safely.

You should seek appropriate medical advice before participating if you are unsure whether the activities are suitable for you.

You are responsible for working within your own limits during all activities.

We reserve the right to modify or exclude an activity where reasonably necessary for safety.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Travel, Passport and Entry Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary passport, visa, entry permission and other documentation required to travel to Morocco.

You should check the requirements applicable to your nationality and circumstances with the relevant authorities before travelling.

Flights are not included in the Retreat price unless expressly stated otherwise.

You are responsible for arranging your own flights and ensuring that your travel arrangements allow you to arrive at Babs Zouina in time for the Retreat.

Airport transfer arrangements: TBC.

16. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance when you book the Retreat.

Your policy should provide appropriate cover for cancellation, medical treatment, emergency assistance, repatriation, personal belongings and any activities you intend to undertake.

You are responsible for checking that your policy is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

You can also make a formal complaint after the Retreat by contacting:

We will seek to resolve complaints within a reasonable period.

  • any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

Subject to applicable law, any limitation of liability relating to compensation for damage will comply with the Package Travel Regulations.

20. Your Conduct

You are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, instructors, the accommodation provider and local residents.

We may take reasonable action if your behaviour seriously disrupts the Retreat, causes danger or significant distress to others, damages property, or breaches local law or the rules of Babs Zouina.

Where appropriate, this may include asking you to leave the Retreat.

If you are required to leave because of your behaviour, you may not be entitled to a refund and may be responsible for any resulting costs, subject to your statutory rights.

21. Special Requirements

Please tell us at the time of booking about any special requirements that are important to your participation in the Retreat.
